Treasure your hearing
Keep the decibels low
Treasure your hearing
So the beauty won't go
Treasure your hearing
Never give up that right
To live free from noise aggression
Morning, noon and night

Boom boxes amplified
Do not make “wise ears”
Hearing loss can take place
in an instant or years
80 to 100 decibels or more can cause harm
With noise induced hearing loss
The beauty is gone

One little baby riding inside a car
The radio was blasting and her hearing was harmed
And what of those parties where those speakers abound
Who wants to lose their hearing to too much sound?

Hearing conservation seems a natural law
Into the fabric of our culture wise ears
Link to the NIDCD, that’s the deal

Where is the common sense?
I ask you my friend
Where is the music spectrum
Beauty can lend?
Where are the true musicians treasuring their right
To conserve their hearing as they listen to their life?
